Painting Boards

We had to get round to painting the boards. Originally we had planned for the walls to be a solid white. However we decided to add some character to the cell by trying to achieve a concrete type effect onto our walls.

I did some paint tests onto some samples, the first one was just a simple can of grey paint, the second I used a stone effect spray onto the sample first then painted over it, where as the last one I applied two coats of paint and then sprayed the stone effect on top. We felt the happiest with the final effect and will use that for our final boards.

When painting the boards we used two types of grey, to try and achieve a marbling effect onto the boards. after that we sprayed a light layer of the stone effect onto each one of our surfaces.

The final look I was happy with and I am eager to see how they look on the Black Magic.
