Prepping Boards for painting

First, I had to strip all of the previously used wallpaper left on the bards we had. I also took out all of the parts of the wall in which the window and the tablet screen would be placed. I cut the wood from the full board using a hack saw. I then plan on creating frames which will just slip into these retrospective holes.

This was a long process, where I couldn't possibly clean the boards completely. They had been wallpapered onto of so many times they were long past saving. So it was decided we would wallpaper on top of the old boards and then paint on top of that.

We did this with the Four boards we had access to, the other boards that we were using for our walls could be painting straight away.

Once the boards were wallpapered they were ready for painting.

I was happy with the boards in the end, they cleaned up a lot better than I expected.
